Although when we arrived, there was a problem with the hot water which wasn`t resolved until the following day, the manager handled the situation very well and arranged for my family of 3, including a toddler, to stay at a similar hotel just around the corner, which was a nice hotel also. Staff overall are very welcoming and friendly, beautiful room, lovely breakfast.....would stay here again.

Sad that they did even comment that we are the Roblins and had opted to stay in an hotel with the same name!

certainely not a 4star hotels...may be a 2 star??won`t be back to stay in this hotel on another visit.

The Hotel Roblin is in an excellent position just off the Place de Madalaine within easy walking distance of the Louvre. However our room no. 212 was very small as was the bathroom! It was also looking very tired and needed redecorating! Nice to have a flat screen TV but the only English speaking channel was CNN News!

The location next to Place Madeleine is ideal, and the hotel is clean and decent. Service is limited but courteous enough For example, they could not help us with information on public transport routes to and from Giverny. The room was small but clean, the amenities simple. Overall a good pied a terre, but barely a 4-star level.

The hotel has an impressive foyer, however, I found the rooms rather disappointing, a facelift was clearly needed. I expected a little more from a 4 star hotel.

Excellent central location. Bar man very friendly. Only ate breakfast so cannot comment on food. The hotel recommended a lovely restaurant just around the corner.

Good location with metro very close by so getting around was easy. I was on the top floor and would suggest that a 4* rating was not applicable. I have stayed in far better 4* hotels than this and for less money. Didn`t have a proper shower, was just a hand held shower head and the beams above the bath meant anyone tall would have a problem standing up. I couldn`t get the safe in the room to work so had to use the one in reception and had to sign to say if I lost the key I would have to pay approx $300. The staff were pleasant enough and the breakfast was sufficient. Overall a bit expensive for what it was, but isn`t that quite common in Paris?

Rooms quite small but clean and comfortable. No kettle provided for drinks in room so bring a travel one with you. Breakfasts excellent with plenty of fresh fruit/cereals/cooked breakfast and pastries etc. Would recommend this as ideal base to see Paris with good bus links from Garde de Nord.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Roblin Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. It is well situated in the centre of Paris, but the room we had was quiet.

Rooms are well equipped, however they are not the largest! But you are right in the heart of Paris on a metro line. Decent bathroom and wardrobe space; the use of a safe in the room at no additional cost was a great bonus! The hotel even booked for us to go see the Lion King as our French wasn`t great. I would definitly go back to this hotel, and will recommend it to friends and family.

The hotel was nice and excellently located but the room was very small. This was a corner room and seemed to have been squeezed in. It was not even possible to close the bedroom door as the bed was in the way. No major complaints though

overall this hotel is very very good. Staff excellent; it was in an excellent position for metro, opera, shops etc. Breakfast excellent. very clean. Was not quite in `a room with a view` as I was on the fifth floor... with no view - I would have peferred to be nearer ground level - otherwise excellent.

The hotel is in a central location close to Madeleine Church and with a few mintues walk of Place Concorde and the Champs Elysee. Many restaurants, cafes and designer shops nearby - London equivalent of Knightsbridge. Staff a little `cool` and not particularly helpful, but not unpleasant. Rooms comfortable and clean. Lift a little erratic if staying at the 6th Floor (top floor). Would happily stay here again.

good location, but air-con does not work (same after changed another room), a thin layer of dirty carpet totally worn-out, maximum a 2star hotel.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Good location. Restaurant quite nice but wasn`t open Saturday night. Breakfast room dark and breakfast not very good. Surely they can get better croissants than this in Paris. Room was small and needs redecorating with chipped paintwork. Bath tiny and hand shower only. Noisy aircon or plumbing;my daughter thought there were mice scuttling behind the grill. Maybe this is all you can expect from a"four star" hotel in Paris?

The staff were lovely - very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice. and it`s ideally placed for the main sites in Paris.

Very helpful staff and excellent breakfasts. Room could do with decoration and new carpet.Not quite up to what I would expect of a 4star hotel. Excellent deal from Hotel Direct. Hotel very easy to get to from Place de l`Opera and the Roissybus from CDG airport.Wouldn`t be tempted back to this particular hotel.

Room slightly on small size but everything else about the hotel - food, service and cleanliness - was excellent. Very close to metro and cenral for all the tourist areas of Paris.
