Perfect location in the 9th: you can not only walk from Gare du Nord, but to all major centres, including Boulevard Hausmann and the Bourse. Breakfast suprisingly good. Friendly, professional staff. Great cafes/bars at the end of the road, so hotel bar not missed. Very happy with this hotel.
Our return visit to this hotel didn`t disappoint. Friendly staff, excellent maid service. Calm relaxed environment. Very comfortable beds and a good sized room with kitchenette. Good bathroom.Good variety for breakfast, but why tinned fruit cocktail? My only criticism in an otherwise perfect holiday.
This central hotel was small with friendly and helpful staff. The accommodation was good and spotlessly clean, It was excellent value which included breakfast. I would have no hesitation in recommending it
I booked the hotel very last minute, so didn`t know what to expect but was very pleased with the choice. I took my Mum and Dad for a long weekend and from the moment we walked through the door, we were made very welcome. We turned up a few hours before check-in time, but my single room was ready and we could all dump our stuff there. The lovely lady in reception was incredibly helpful and friendly and gave us some ideas for lunch venues. The rooms were clean, comfortable beds and nicely done. There was also a peaceful courtyard where we could have our breakfast or just sit and chat. Centrally located, just 10 minutes from Rue des Abessess and 15 mins from Sacre Couer. The hotel is also easy to find coming from Gare de Nord. There is no bar at the hotel, but there are many in the same street and in the surrounding area. I would come back, for sure!
My sister and I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The accommodation was clean and nicely presented. We found the reception staff especially helpful and friendly whilst we were there. On the day we left they were also helpful in ringing our very late Paris shuttle bus for us to eventually sort out another car for us as ours hadn`t turned up. We were told that if we`d contacted the hotel direct and sorted out a shuttle via them it would have been half the price and hopefully a lot more reliable. If there was anything I would ask for in addition at the hotel it would be `fresh` fruit at breakfast along with all the pastries and bread as tinned was used. Apart form that it was great. We would happily use it again next time we were in Paris.
Centrally located. Plenty of cafes nearby. Clean, although shame the bathroom didn`t seem to have an outside vent. Had problem with squeeky bed but this was sorted for us before the end of the day. Would have liked coffee making facilities in room, although good choice for breakfast. Clean and quiet. Heavy curtains so dark in the morning. Would recommend.
Comfortable spacious room in this small independent hotel. Good quality breakfast available in the pretty undercroft dining area. It was useful for us that there was an underground carpark opposite for us to park our car
The hotel is well presented and very clean. The area is well served with bistros and bars, and whilst near a reasonably busy road, there is no problem wandering around on foot. The room was well decorated and met all our needsexcept for the fact that an extra mirror in the bedroom would have been useful, and the wardrobe had only four coat hangars. The breakfast was plentiful and of good quality - a welcome added touch was free newspapers every day. The staff were all very friendly and professional. Overall, it was excellent value for money and would gladly recommend it to friends.
What can I say everything about our stay was class. My now husband to be proposed to me in Paris and our hotel provided everything we required i will never forget my experience and all the staff were very helpful (thankyou).Breakfast brilliant, restraunts a plenty, travel easy, city perfect.................................
we enjoyed our stay in this well presented quiet hotel, rooms well equiped . breakfast was good although dining space was a bit limited (could be a problem in busier times)
The staff were really quite helpful. My wife was unwell and they were very anxious to assist. The breakfast was no more than adequate as were the rooms but considering the location, i.e. in the centre of Paris then we have no complaints at the value for money.
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, the rooms are small, but very clean and the staff were friendly! The breakfast room is small but adequate! The only thing we thought might have made it perfect, was a bar where we could have enjoyed a relaxing drink! Would recommend!
Trois Poussins is a lovely intimate boutique hotel just a few minutes walk from St George metro station. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and very well appointed....but somewhat compact! Sharing with a child (even in a cot) would be uncomfortable. The buffet breakfast is delicious and plentiful. The staff are courteous.I would definately visit again.
great continental breakfast and accessed from breakfast room a lovely little courtyard area.rooms on the small side but adequate. hotel aprox.350yds from Sant Georges metro station and 3/4 mile from sacre-coeur . possible down side is the extortionate prices for everything in Paris so bring plenty of euroes
This was my second time there and i loved it friendly staff good location nice breakfast
A super, small, clean hotel. Lovely room. Breakfast fresh & sufficient. Helpful staff. Close to a good corner café for meals. Unfortunately situated at considerable distance & changes of metro for access to main tourist sites. It must be remembered it is not far from Pigalle & on two occasions we had people loudly shouting/arguing in the locale late in the evening. A lone traveller might feel vulnerable returning to the hotel at night. However, all in all, we very much enjoyed our stay.
My partner and I travelled with our two kids and it was a great base from which to explore Paris. Convenient location yet not on a busy main street. I highly recommend - very good value.
A nice hotel. Well located, tidy and friendly helpful staff.
THE HOTEL WAS PERFECT FOR SHORT STAY IN PARIS, THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. ALL THE STAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN
Staff very pleasant and helpful
Stayed here with my mother and two children (5 years and 3 years old). Very impressed with courteous staff, very clean room (spacious enough for the four of us and included a microwave, hob and fridge and thankfully also had air conditioning) and wonderful breakfast (cereals, fresh fruit, fresh juice, variety of breads, croissants, pain au chocolat, pain aux raisins, yohurts, cold meats and cheeses, coffee, tea, hot chocolate etc). Located near very nice street with supermarkets, boulangeries, restaurants, epiceries etc). Nearest metro just a couple of mins walk away. Would definitely choose this hotel again when coming to Paris, as would my mother and she is fussy!!
Lovely hotel staff. We loved the location. Really close to Metro but we walked everywhere including form Gard de Nord.
This hotel lived up to its billing. It was in a great location, very close to the Metro (St George). Very quiet inside and the breakfast was top notch. Would go again.
Hotel is in lovely area, near center of Paris. It was spotlessly clean, breakfast plentiful and staff at the reception, breakfast room & room ladies were all very pleasant & polite.
We really enjoyed our time at 3 Poussins. It is down a quiet side road, about 15 mins walk from Gare De Nord (don`t bother taking the subway unless you have lots of bags), and about 20 minutes walk from The Louvre. We had an excellent experience with the staff, who presented us with a map and drew on it lots of recommendations of where to go. Their English level was good, and they were extremely proactive and friendly. The hotel was clean, breakfast was basic but nice, and the rooms were of adequate size. Overall, we would recommend this hotel and will be staying here again!
We found the hotel staff to be very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was well placed for the Moulin Rouge and the Sacre Cour, some 5-10 mins walk. Rooms were clean and warm. Breakfast was fine. Good value for money.
good location especially for Eurostar travellers. Clean rooms and quiet street with good restaurants nearby.
I highly recomend the hotel, allthough the reception staff seemed to be short of a smile or two, however helpfull none the less.Perfect Location,
Lovely Hotel, Lovely people, really enjoyed our 2 night stay, great location in Opera area just far enough away from the hustle and bustle but not too far away, plenty to do around area, close to Moulin Rouge and plenty of Brasseries to relax and watch the world go by...Ideal
I have stayed in another three star hotel not very far from Trois Poussins a few years ago and I can honestly say that the two hotels cannot be compared. I would definitely go back to Trois Poussins. The rooms are clean and the staff are very friendly. This hotel was recommeded by a friend who is a regular guest there.
I would not hesitate to recomend this beautiful hotel the rooms are very clean and comfortable the staff are very friendly there are plenty of restaurants close by and i will definatly return to this delightful hotel
Only significant minus was lack of tea/coffee making facilities in bedroom, but full-size fridge was a bonus. Towels were a bit spartan. Otherwise, very happy with this choice, would definitely stay there again.
The hotel had a really good location near the metro station and easy to walk to the Gare de Nord. It is also possible to walk to most of the sights from the hotel if you wanted to.The breakfast was really good and the staff spoke English and were friendly. The hotel itself was not luxurious but we had not expected that for the cost. It was perfect for a place to come back to after a days sightseeing.
Our stay at the Trois Poussins hotel was very enjoyable. All staff were very friendly and helpful and always had a smile and a hello whenever we passed. Would stay there again and would thoroughly recommend this to other travellers. Excellent location close to subway.
