Lovely happy staff staff - all of themvery helpful, Gave us bottles of water free to go shopping withlet us store our cases after we checked out. The room hotel were all spotlessly clean and prices were also resonalble. In a lovely postiion right onto maddame tassuads and oxford street and three main tube stations. Couldnt ask for more lovely.
An excellent hotel, very handy for Oxford Street and Marylebone. Attractively furnished, staff extremely helpful, continental breakfast plentiful and interesting: could be upgraded to full English for £4. Only problem : nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom!
Very nice, modern decor, friendly staff, and very reasonable price!Elisa offered us a very friendly welcome, and after seeing we were on our anniversary break we were upgraded to a deluxe suite, which made our rainy walk and tube rides worth the while. The room was excellent. Spacious, modern and clean. The location is great - just 5 mins from Bond Street Tube (literally 5 mins - not a 5 min jog!).Would definitely stay there again.
One of the nicest hotels I`ve ever stayed in. Spacious room modern decoration which was opulent. Large wet room, no bath though which may be an issue for some. This room even had your own Krups Nespresso machine. Plenty of low lit sofa lounge areas, again very modern & opulent. Would definitely recommend to friends and will return again.
everythings spot on .... just wana thank all the staff , specaily with recaption girl when i cheched out on 12th august 2010 she was very polite and friendly helpfull she was wearing red dress with back hair.... well done all . i will be back for sure.
we thoroughly enjoyed our stay ,good location, excellent service we will certainly be coming again.
Rooms are great, clean and calm, and public areas good for meeting clients for discrete discussions. Good access to the tube and taxis, surrounding areas interesting for food and shopping.
The hotel had a luxurious feel to it and all members of staff were very welcoming. It was in a great location and within a short walking distance to oxford street and the underground. The continental breakfast was great and the room had everything we needed. A fantastic hotel.
We chose this hotel for it`s location and swimming pool. When we approached the reservations to check on the pools location we were informed that it was closed for refurbishments!!! Why were we not informed of this...apparently our booking agency shou,ld have done this.We would certainly have asked to change hotels as the pool was very important to our break. We were given vouchers to WALK 10 minutes(absolute joke) to a spa hotel.I asked for a complimentary taxi-sorry no.Who wants to walk through London with soaking hair after a trip to the pool,I am hoping that there will be an explanation to this, and some financial compensation. We regularly book trips to London and have never had this issue before.I look forward to your response.
A good quality Hotel. Decor is excellent, 10/10. The room is nicely done, but the bathroom has to be one of the smallest I have ever seen, Also very disappointed to learn that the leisure facilities, i/.e swimming pool and jacuzi were shit for referb, which wasnt stated when booking, nor were we told by the staff when booking in. This was very poor as this is one of the reasons that we booked this hotel. Other than that the staff were attentive,
A wonderful stay was had by my wife and I. The hotel was fantastic - some of the nicest toilets I have ever seen by the way. All the staff couldnt do enough for you and I would definately come again. You are perfectly situated for all the shops which didnt help my credit card bill but Thank you for your hospitality and warm reception. We had a great weekend.
Had a long weekend in London and stayed at the Marylebone Hotel which we thoughly enjoyed. The room was great, the food really great but the staff were even better. Thanks for a brill weekend.
This is a beautiful hotel very well situated and very near all shops and restaurants. Only complaint room and bathroom tiny.
Hi I recently spent a weekend with my girlfriend in The Marylebone Hotel. I cannot praise both management and staff highly enough. In terms of location it was ideal literally a five minute walk to Oxford St and six- seven minute walk to Bond St station. Staffs were extremely polite, room were comfortable and finished to a high standard. I would definitely stay here again
A wonderful hotel, excellent location. The staff were extremely friendly, location was first class, and within easy reach of all the attractions.
Staff were amazingly friendly and so helpful, rooms were lovely and at breakfast was gorgeous with plenty of choice. Would definately stay again and reccommend it. Thank you
Every element of the stay at the marylebone hotel was outstanding. All staff were very friendly and helpful, room was very well presented and immaculately kept. The lobby and reception areas were stunning and the bar and restaurant were also beautifully presented.
Nice location and proximity to Oxford street, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms originally booked were very small especially the bathroom. Our A/C was not working and the rooms were very hot as it was such a glorious weekend in London. We complained and got upgraded for one of our 2 night stays.Breakfast was very nice expect they seemed understaffed on Sunday and it was a little chaotic but as a whole very good and fresh.I would stay here again, however if you would like ot be more central then perhaps this is not for you :))
Great stay really pleasant hotel with very friendly hotel staff especially the breakfast crew . So very attentive and appear to enjoy their teamwork..We would certainly stay here again.
The hotel was fine, nicely set out and very well presented - drinks in hotel bar hugely overpriced (£8 for vodka and tonic) also the NCP car park tehy suggest on their website i used. Had my car broken into and laptop stolen from the boot. 3rd time this has happened in a week according to car park attendant. not happy!
On arrival at the hotel we immediatley were made to feel welcome. The hotel is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It is one of the nicest London Hotels that we have stayed and look forward to going back again in the future.
We found the staff at the hotel more than helpful, with the concierge more than keen to help us find tickets to shows, give information on the map re museums etc. Arranging taxis for us and when we needed anything for the room such as more milk or coffee, it was there within 5 minutes. The breakfast, whether continental or full english was superb as again were the restaurant staff.A big thankyou for making my 50th birthday an enjoyable occasion.
Nothing was too much trouble in the hotel. All the staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was first class. Easy access to Oxford Street. I asked for a late check out and had it without any problem. Duty manager was a credit. I will be staying there again on my next visit.
Staff went out of their way to make our stay a wonderful one. Great position in london. Nothing was too much trouble for them. HIghly recommend this hotel!!
NO FREE PARKING IN NEARBY NCP,ADVISED BY ALL DOOR & COUNTER STAFF WITH NCP VAIDATING TICKET,PARKED MY CAR FROM 08.15 TO 17.15 ON 3/4/2010,UPON LEAVING NCP MACHINE AND NCP MALE EMPLOYEE DENIES ANY SUCH AGREEMENT,I HAD TO PAY £30,STAFF AT HOTEL OFFERED NO EXPLANATION AND SMILED.HOTEL ROOM COSY SHAME TO FAN TO THE EN-SUITE NEVER WORKED,REGARDS FW
This hotel is very contemporary, has beautiful lounge areas and lovely rooms. The location is superb right near Oxford St and Bond St and Oxford Circus underground stations making getting around so easy. The only criticism would be that the rooms are very small especially the bathrooms (struggle getting out of the shower!) but very well appointed. That said, the staff are extremely friendly and can`t do enough for you during your stay which more than compensates for the small rooms! Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone!
Room was a littlke small but everything else was very good
I have worked in the hotel trade for many years but my experience at The Marylebone Hotel surpasses them all. The hotel is very tastely decorated, the rooms are gorgeous and the staff are exceptional. A wonderful experience for our Easter Break, we will definately visit again.
Great hotel, arrived early, but was still able to get in to the room and was upgraded as well. Good location for Oxford Street, Regent Street, Carnaby Street etc. Walking distance to Soho and Piccadilly Staff were really helpful, leisure facilities and good food All in all a great find. I travel to London a lot on business and wiil use this hotel in future as opposed to the "big names"
Excellent hotel in a very quiet area but yet very close to Oxford Street - room small but perfectly formed and staff friendly and helpful. Excellent fresh continental breakfast - all in all an ideal base.
We had a lovely stay at this hotel but had a mobile phone stolen out of our room by a staff member while we were out for the evening. It put a black cloud over what was a great few nights.
I cannot find anything to complain about. The hotel gave us a free upgrade as it was my wifes birthday. The room was good, the breakfast was varied and good quality. There is a pool and gym, however I did not have time to visit these as we tried to achieve a lot whilst in London for this short period. I must say I have stayed at another large hotel within 5 minutes of here and you could hear the next rooms TV, etc!!, but no such thing here. The hotel`s position is ideal for shopping (if that is what you wish to do) and there are plenty of places to eat. I have stayed in many hotels across the globe and I must say this one is in the top 5 I have stayed in. Thankyou Marylebone Hotel (and Hotel Direct) for such a good experience
