I really enjoyed staying at the Boomsbury Hotel. The rooms although small were beautifully furnished. The staff were very helpful. We had a delicious cooked breakfast before we left. Would definitely recommend
Had a weekend break in London and picked this Hotel because of the location to where I wanted to be, found it to be a really smart Hotel at reasonable price, Staff were helpful and the Buffet Continental Breakfast was good. Definately will use again.
Really enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Bloomsbury, good hotel, great location.. Nice bedroom very quiet, bathroom was really nice, but a little on the small size. Some small niggles reported firstly that we were not able to open the safe in the room, secondly, reported that there was a shortage of coat hangers in the wardrobe, neither of these issues were resolved. Overall very enjoyable stay, we would certainly visit again
We would definately stay here again, we were really pleased with our choice. All I would say in criticism is that the gym wasn`t labelled in the ground floor and we only discovered on checking out that it was behind the `Bedford Suite` door! Also the low level lighting was nice and romantic but useless for finding anything or putting on makeup! A problem with the sink was remedied really quickly and the false alarm (fire?) in the middle of the night was unsettling but hardly their fault! The continental breakfast was adequate and the upgrade to full English was reasonably priced. Coffee the first day was dreadful, but had a little kick the second, thankfully. The beds and pillows were delightfully comfortable.Overall, a lovely break.
Beautiful Hotel, great location and very helpful friendly staff. Stayed one night with my daughter whilst visiting Royal Academy staying here was part of special weekend for us andthe location was ideal we could walk or tube anywhere. Would stay here again.
As soon as we entered we knew this was the right choice, if only we booked the two nights here instead of the one. The hotel had great service with a smile, and the little touches they provide made it all that more special. Both me & my hubby will be booking again soon!!!!
We used the hotel as a base for a theater and shopping trip - only the one night, but it was important to be comfortable, well fed, and relaxed. The Bloomsbury gave all that. The rooms are well-decorated, and finished to a high standard. The restaurant is very good, and the staff attentive and considerate. It`s very convenioent for Oxford Street and the theatres, especially the Dominion, but our destination (the Palladium) was no more than a ten minute walk. Above all, the hotel gave an impression of peace and calm, making us feel like we were the only guests (the attendacne at breakfast gave lie to that, but didn`t change the feel at all.) Highly recommended!
We stayed at this hotel for one night (Saturday) and was delighted with it`s location and the overall style and professional manner in which the hotel was run. All staff were extremely helpful and the room was just perfect.
From checkin to checkout. Faultless. Immaculate in every way. Very high standards. Very helpful staff. Superb.
This is a really nice hotel, great food and the conti: breakfast was wonderful, but who in heavens name decided to put flat screen tv`s on the party walls of the bedrooms!! We were blasted out from 11.45 PM to 2 AM by the next door idiot, the night porter attempted to shut the noise up, with only partial success, if the guest had not left the next day we would have checked out! We had an apology from staff, but no bottle of wine or reduction in the bill for a totally wrecked night and part of the next day. The next guests that stayed put the tv on late at night, much lower volume, but still audible, this is bad design, but doubt that it will be rectified, a pity, the hotel was converted very well, but we wont be back, shame!!
Location for the West end shows good, Rooms very good and staff very friendly. Overall a great place for a weekend break when seeing a show.Hotel Concierge did a really good job chasing down a taxi and giving directions.
Really nice hotel and modern room just around the corner from the Dominion Theatre. We stayed for one night and the competetive price included a lovely continental breakfast.
The room was really good with everything you need for a short stay in the city. They have a safe in the room and even have an ironing board and iron in the cupboard. Tea and coffee in room. We had continental breakfast included with our booking and i couldn`t believe how much you get to eat. Well worth a stay.
Beautiful hotel, perfect location we walked everywhere. Staff were great everything was perfect i highly recommend it.
No complaints at all, Double room was excellent with large comfy bed. We had very quiet room , have stayed in other hotels which have had lots of road noise thru the night. Within few minutes walk to West End, Covent Garden etc. Feeling fit just 10-15 min wal kto - from Euston Station. OLIVER also brilliant.
Tiny room, no natural light & extremely poor lighting in the room. No dining area and far too cramped to eat in the room.Requested new room which was acceptable, but I feel the amount charged for the night did not reflect the accomodation offered. Staff excellent, food very good, pity we were delayed by having to change rooms
well located-good breakfast-great staff- would stay again
The hotel was very central yet very quite-location idael for theatre trips. The room was immaculate and very spacious for a standard double. Only complaint was the air conditioning unit quite noisey and confusing to use. The continental breakfast was brilliant-lots of choice and tasty food! I would definately return to this hotel.
Good stay at Bloomsbury Hotel, comfortable and clean rooms/hotel. Reception friendly and helpful. Would have got an excellent if the room had been a bit warmer, although Im sure if I had asked for help they would have obliged. I also had to chase up room service to find out where our breakfast had gone. We did get our breakfast though and ver y nice it was.
room was very comfortable. Location was perfect, close to a tube station and also Oxford Street and not too far from the theatre. Only comment would make was when concierge booked a cab for us, he booked an executive company costing us £13 to the theatre. A Black Cab back from the theatre cost us only £6 - you may wish to review who you use for taxi services
I would have given this hotel an "excellent" rating if it were not for the fact that our attempts to sleep were heavily disrupted by a loud, drunken wedding party taking place on the verandah directly underneath our room. This was probably just bad luck, but not really what I was expecting from such a smart and elegant hotel.
Excellent service, clean, friendly, superb food and fantastic location.
We only stayed one night but enjoyed the hotel emmensely. The staff were particularly helpful,
Very well presented and central for most of the sights.
Staff wonderfully helpful ,rooms a delight as are the bathrooms.
I would always think when returning to London to stay once again at the hotel.ps Would greatly appreciated direct mailing on long weekend offers I go to London twice monthly.
