The stay was great, ideal location for seeing everything, just a tube ride away from whatever you want to do.The staff were warm and friendly. The building needs some TLC.Would like to stay again
Great location - close to everything we wanted to see. We would recommend this hotel.
St Ermins is ideally situated for visiting all the tourist sites of Westminster. Staff were very friendly, the room was well equipped and clean and a small problem with the shower was fixed quickly and with a smile! I will certainly make this a regular stop on my future visits to London.
Good location, quiet position in Central London, staff friendly and helpful. Recommended.
hotel was well situated for many of the sights of London around Westminster. The attractions ie Palace of Westminster, the Abbey, Whitehall, Buckingham Palace and the Royal Parks were within easy walking distance of the hotel. The staff were very polite and helpful.
Good breakfast included in room fee. Helpful, attentive staff. Garnd looking hotel but in need of refurbishment.
The hotel is in a perfect position for sighseeing around Buckingham Palace, westminster, and even walking to Oxford st. The theatres are fairly close by. The staff are very helpful and courtious. Superb breakfast and again excellent service. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I look forward to my next visit there.
Hotel has good location, friendly and helpful staff and goos food.Downside is rooms need decorating, hotel appears to be in need of a good overall. Our room had small issues but did not deter us from our stay. Would go back if visiting London again. A bit pricy for the state of the hotel and lack of ammenities.
Great location, lovely lobby. Rooms a bit small and rather warm.
St Ermins exceeded my expectations - Certainly old world charm for this Victorian London Hotel is an apt phrase to describe. Friendly staff helped as well. Breakfast which was included in our tariff was up there with the best I have experienced at any London Hotel. I would certainly recommend to my friends and will be stopping there again on my next London sojourn. Thank you for a most pleasant stay. John Fitzgerald - Sydney Australia.
elegant, classical but beginning to look tired, beautiful staircase, chandeliers and stucco work on the ceilings - with a little tlc this could soon regain its former glory staff very friendly and helpful, just ask and they will do their best to help. The tea was weak at breakfast (as it usually is in hotels) but a request for a stronger cup immediately resulted in a fresh pot with extra tea-bags on the side. We were able to check in early but the concierge will happily look after your bags if you arrive early or if your return journey is later in the evening. Really comfortable beds - just what you need after a heavy day shopping! Will return
Our key did not work in our door to begin with and we had to return to reception to get that sorted out. The staff were very friendly and moved us from our room to another quickly once we discovered that water was dripping from a light in the bathroom. The second room was not in the basement and was much lighter than the first. We bought wine which we put in the fridge and forgot about until after we had checked out. When we returned for our bags later that day and asked about the wine we were told that there was no wine found in the fridge in that room. The cleaning staff had obviously helped themselves!
the location is first class as you are in walking distance of the west end and nearly all of the famous sights i would recomend the hotel to anyone and look forward to staying there myself very soon
With friends we booked into ST Ermins for one night as we had all travelled to London for a night at the theatre! our room was clean and spacious with air con working slowly, our friends had no air con working but had a fan to assist the heat! All staff were friendly and helpful, we stayed for breakfast which was amazing lots of delicious food and great attention! A brillaint night in London right in the heart without the bustle of all the people! will stay again
We were really delighted with the location of this hotel. It was really convenient for many of the sights we wanted to see and for access to the tube. We hired two single rooms which were a decent size and nicely furnished. The bathrooms were clean and well fitted out. We would definitely use this hotel again when visiting London.
Considering the cost of London hotel rooms in the capital in Summer, this was one of the better deals. The hotel is full of charecture and a good location. Some of the rooms are a little tired, small but have everything you need. On site carpark is a bonus and when I arrived at 5pm there were plenty of spaces - costs are comparable to NCPs. As in any old building the waterworks take a little while to get going, but water is piping hot.
The entire staff in the hotel were very good, as was the breakfast facility. The only thing it could do with, is an up-graded elevator, not for me, but for guests that need help. It`s locality, only ten to fifteen minutes walk to Buckingham Palace and the bulk of the theatres, was excellent.
The room we had was very good, the staff very pleasant and helpful, the hotel and surrounding area was clean. The location is also very good with in walking distance of Victoria and Westminster. Did not sample the food on this occassion due to our short period of stay but the prices appeared reasonable and we would definitely recommend the hotel and we will use the hotel again on our next visit to London. The only problem we had was tourist & hotel information, the hotel information service was not available on the TV to get hotel info. Also there did not appear to be any information booklets in the reception area.
Hotel was extremely clean and i had no complaints. Me and my girlfriend had a great week. The hotel is in a good location ideal for the beach, town and the bar strip.
The room was poor. The shower was a trickle. The duvet was ripped. The curtains were dirty and torn. The room was just adequate to `get your head down`. Wouldn`t stay any longer. Initially only one towell.
Friendly staff, decent room if maybe a bit tired looking but really clean. Good location for the Theatre. Really decent breakfast. I would visit again.
Generally the hotel needs some refurbishment especially in the communial areas. Could not find my booking when I arrived. Breakfast was one of the worst I have had for many years. I can comment further if required
I had booked a twin bedded room for my daughter & myself some weeks before & when we arrived there were none available. Eventually we were given two single rooms which proved to be very acceptable although we were on different floors. Good standard, good location, good price - no complaints.
very uncomfortable night as a/c was not workinh in room 117.
The hotel had a lovely atmosphere. Enjoyed the decor. Although there was not much space in the room we did not mind as the room had character. The only drawback was the bed. Most uncomfortable. Definitely past it`s use by date . Excellent breakfast in a beautiful room.
We have used the St Ermins previously and found it to be clean, friendly and really well situated. The rooms are comfortable if a bit small but did suit the purpose. The staff were friendly and helpfull which always helps. We did not book breakfast as we felt that £12 per head was very expensive as we had it last time and thought it was `OK`. The pub round the corner offered a better breakfast at half the price. we will use the St Ermins again due to its proximity to the attractions, its clean and comfortable condition and the friendly staff
A good hotel centrally located in London, but reasonably priced.
Don`t stay on sixth floor as tiny lift and small rooms no pressure in shower and pathetic air conditioning else decaying Edwardian eligence with origional scrambelled eggs for breakfast
