Great location, good rooms and staff at the Reception Desk are particularly helpful - can`t beat it for the price. Would definitely go again.

My only negative comments are that when we arrived we could not get into our room until 3.45pm as they were still cleaning it (we were told when booking it would be 3pm), and the other was that they ran out of towels at the pool and although the lady said she would get some more they didn`t ever arrive so I used a bathroom towel. Other than that the Hotel was great!

Pool bar facilities would be better if available from pool opening time, instead of 1pm. It would also be an improvement if the pool opened earlier, for example at 9 instead of 10.

We would have rathered that breakfast had been included in the price as this was annoying to have to go outside to find a place particularly on the Sunday when places were closed.

The hotel was stylish, clean and modern with really freindly staff!!! The location was perfect for getting about seeing the beautiful city!!

Dont get off at the Metro stop that is advised - go one station further to UNIVERSITAT. When you get off, go up the stairs, turn 180 degrees and walk less than1 minute. The Jazz hotel is on your right hand side in between 2 roads, right next to a coffee shop and ice cream parlour.

Only fault I could find, the breakfast food was luke warm ,ie bacon,sausage mushrooms, other than that we found hotel was good, very freindly staff

We stayed for 3 nights in Sept and had no complaints. The modern hotel had all amenities required and was well presernted throughout. We used it as a base and its location was excellent being close to the metro and touristic bus (the red route even has a stop about 50m from the hotel. The hotel entrance lies between two roads just in case you can`t find it easily. There was an excellent tapas bar in one corner of the university square nearby called cellar de tapas. Barcelona is a fantastic place to be - there is something for everyone.

We found our stay here enjoyable and comfortable but a couple of things need stating.My wife jammed her hand when sliding open the wardrobe doors. I`m sure this is not the first time this has happened, indeed I almost did it myself. I`m sure their is an easy answer. Little doorstops would stop the doors going so far and the handle would not jam your fingers.As a matter of housekeeping the standard lamp in room 701 has wires dangerously exposed at the top. This could cause a terrible accident. It should be fixed or removed.Lastly, we found the room service menu a bit limiting.Yours, Jim & Ray Downie

The Jazz was conviently situated to all the sights and local transport. The hotel provided an excellent buffet breakfast. The rooms were spacious and very clean. All services within the hotel were very good indeed. In fact -apart from a dodgy shower head this hotel is top of any we have stayed in and would strongly recommend it.

I absolutely loved the hotel, its decor, room size,bed, bathroom, rooftop, reception,efficiency and I will be returning as it is one of the best city centre hotels I have stayed in (in Europe).Except....the breakfast! Buffet style, it looked excellent, wide choice perhaps too wide as I was underwhealmed with all I tasted. The hot food was as warm as the warm tea, the cold food...well, it was cold, but at least I have become a fruit and yoghurt breakfast fan.

An excellent hotel close to the centre of Barcelona. Had a short stay & will definitely stay here again when we return to Barcelona

Modernistic, clean, comfortable, and in great position for Las Ramblas, and at reasonable rates. Ask for "quiet room" to avoid the noise from the streets below. Pity there were no tea and coffee making facilities, but otherwise excellent.

Rooms very comfortable with comfortable king + size bed and more than sufficient room. Most amenities present. As usual, if from UK you might want to bring your travel kettle!Staff and service very efficient. Breakfast as filling as you wanted it. Excellent location near to top of Ramblas and close to Metro and transport links. Would definitely book again when return to Barcelona.

Breakfast was great with much variety. It would have been good to have a small gym available. Also the reception staff were slightly aloof.

This was a great hotel - I have stayed in worse 5 star ones! Location is spot on as it is right in the centre of the city, very near La Ramble district but just out of the way enough to be quiet too. Very walkable to everywhere. The rooms were decent size and nicely furnished - basic but stylish and a great bathroom! Pool area is small but nice on the roof with good views of the city, and the food at breakfast was really first class.

The location was excellent. The rooms were spacious, quiet and clean with modern furniture. The breakfast was reasonable with a range of food. The pool area was very good with views over Barclona.

The Jazz is a chic Boutique hotel brilliantly located within short walking distances of all Barcelona`s main attractions. The rooms are generously sized and very well appointed in a contempory style. The rooftop pool, while not huge, adds to the hotel`s reasons to stay.

A great Hotel, fab location, very clean, lovely breakfast and then to top it all off, the rooftop pool. You could not ask for a better hotel in barcelona. Would could back again.
