On our arrival at the hotel the reception staff were welcoming and later proved to be very helpful as we bombarded her with various questions about where places were in Dublin! The room was clean and we thought it a good idea that you needed your key card to get further than the reception area. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very efficient! I`d definately stay there again but as on other reviews I can see that it could be very noisy at weekends due to the bar downstairs and nearby. Overall I will keep Drury Court on my list of recommendations to my friends!
PULLED OUT ALL THE STOPS TO ENSURE WE HAD BREAKFAST AT 7.30AM AS WE HAD TO LEAVE AT 7.45AM FOR TAXI TO AIRPORT. HOT BREAKFAST PROVIDED SO THANKED CHEF FOR EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. HOTEL CENTRAL AND CLEAN AND VERY GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY. WOULD CERTAINLY BOOK AGAIN AND RECOMMEND TO FRIENDS.
full Irish breakfast but room only on printed voucher. Receptionist very friendly and helpful.
clean, the staff were friedly, breakfast great, location great
The rooms have all mod cons and were clean and tidy. The staff were very helpful arranging taxi, storing luggage when we were leaving, giving directions etc.The criticism would be a) breakfast room seemed disorganised and noisy and b) during the second night there was a lot of noise from the street until late in the night. Maybe we were just unlucky that time?
Room was spacious and well furnished but the room was very cold and the temp adjustment would not go above 19 degrees. The kettle in the room looked like it had mould in the bottom, but was probably limescale gone dark, however I did not trust it to make a hot drink so that was denied to me. The breakfast was average, the only plus side was free wiFi in the rooms. I will not stay there again.
Clean and comfortable hotel with lovely breakfast, centrally located and very reasonably priced, helpful staff.
Very accomodating in allowing us to leave our bags there from 10.00am. Close enough to the entertainment area to be able to walk everywhere, but for the same reason a bit noisy until early hours of Sat/Sun mornings. Generally very good value and service.
The hotel was extremely good value. Rooms were clean and bright. Breakfast was a bonus, extremely good, staff helpful and happy. In all we had a good stay at the Drury Court.Air coach from Dublin and return is only a 5 minute walk away.We stayed from Sunday to Wednesday so was quieter, there is a nightclub opposite which I could imagine be a bit noisy but sadly I am too old to now to join in!
Excellent location. Large comfortable rooms, good breakfasts, friendly staff. A bit noisy over the weekwnds in the evenings, but quiet during the week. Would stay again
The Bed did not suit as we have a firmer matress at home
Helpful staff, moved rooms with ease, second night excellent. Very good breakfast. Would recommend any night except Saturday! Booked online good value for money.
Staff were courteous at all times. Brilliant breakfast, nothing was too much trouble with regards to requests to the waitresses. Hotel room was very clean.Just one negitive, lighting for applying make up was not very good.
Hi this hotel was ideal for our hen night in dublin. The location is perfect and everywhere we wanted to go to (night life, restaurants shopping etc) was within walking distance. THe hotel is linked to a bar with a nice eating area and although the bar is livley you can not hear any noise when you are in your room. There is a bus (16a) which is a direct link with the airport which was ideal. The only negative thing i can say is our room smelled of smoke but we told the cleaner and was imediatly given some air freshner. Our friends were in 2 other rooms which did not smell of smoke at all. I would definatly reccomend this hotel it was really clean, beds really comfortable and the perfect location.
The rooms are a good size clean and comfortable - only problem the roo hair dryer did not work and there was a delay in replacing it
Great location staff very helpfull
Staff very helpfull, hotel clean and as advertised with excellant breakfast. Very central location, will stay here again.
really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. thanks for you support and service.
Good position to explore Dublin from as it is close proximity to all the main attractions. Room was clean and functional, although struggled to turn shower off due to faulty tap. Staff friendly and helpful. Close to bars and clubs for evening entertainment. Could hear noise from street up to 3:00am but nothing too bad.
Room 506 needs a blind over the window. Curtains were a waist of time.
Car parking costs astronomical. Even with the hotels special night time rate it cost me over 60 euro to park my car for 3 days.
I picked the location for good access to National Library and Archives for family history research and for shopping. The hotel was comfortable and the full Irish breakfast was very `clean` and tasty. Got three nights or the price of two which represented good value for money. The bar offered good lunch and evening food options at prices that were often better than other nearby restaurants th a complimentary drink with each main meal. The hotel also offered room service at no extra charge and after days spent trawling through indexes and microfiche it was very welcome. Only 2 euros 20 on the local bus 16A from the airport too.
a good hotel close to grafton street and st. stephens green i would be happy to use it again
The hotel was fabulous apart from the awful start to our weekend away....... we had booked a double room....and got put into twin....as you can imagine, this was not we had requested /booked and paid for, on a romantic weekend away especially as it was my birthday!!!I am still waiting for the Hotel Manager to contact us......to explain how the booking that was clearly stating a double...could have been allocated so wrongly!!Having young children weekends away are precious and not something that is done with great ease, after arriving late into the evening...where we jsut wanted to realx and enjoy the start to our weekend, well you can imagine how we felt!I await you response to this asap please........tahnk you in anticeptation
Good hotel, rooms clean and spacious. Everyone very helpful. Food in the bar reasonable value for money - could do with more options though!! But the feree galss of wine with a main course fpor hotel guests went down a treat. Will come back here again.
the first night the noise from the club below was really bad, tho we were on the third floor... it went on till about 3amwe asked the staff the next day and they moved us, we could still hear the club but it wasnt too bad and not enough to disturb our sleep even tho my partner is a light sleeperbreakfast was goodstaff helpful comfortable roomvery good location near the centre.however would choose another hotel next time if we were going to be staying at the weekend
If you are staying Friday or Saturday night I woild request a room thats not on the forst floor
I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN AND WOULD RECCOMEND IT TO FRIENDS WE HAD A LOVELY STAY HERE STAFF VERY FRIENDLY FOOD GOOD ROOM A GOOD SIZE NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL
Hotel looking very tired, attention to detail needed such as no bulbs in some lights, extremely uncomfertable bed. Will not be booking here again!
Cleanliness and standards in the rooms were high. Some additional touches may have been some biscuits for the tea and coffee? We had asked for quiet rooms and I would advise that the bar/bistro lounge located beneath the hotel is quite noisy ,especially at the weekends. We would definitely use the Drury Court again -excellent location.
